I can't reveal the Christmas 2010 card photo shoot because I want to wait until I have sent the cards out.  Perhaps when we have human children they will be the Christmas card subjects.  Until then, you get Douglas...afterall he is, and will always be, our first baby.  Plus, we think he is way cuter (and hopefully more comical) than a picture of us.

sleepytime

It has been said that pugs sleep an average of 14 hours a day.  From the looks of it, so do I.  (You have to give me a break though- I work 12 hour nights which is why I tend to nap a lot!)  I love my husband for taking these pictures...and I love my Doug the Pug for being my cuddle buddy. :)  

(And please excuse my appearance in most of these pictures...hey, I'm keepin' it real!)

(this was pretty funny---at some point during our nap, douglas jumped down, got his monkey toy, placed it there on my pillow, and went back to his position on top of me.  i guess he thought i needed a toy!)

i love my boys.

all you need is pug....

This started out with me telling Shon to get a picture of Doug and I together.  It ended up as a little photo shoot due to Doug being his cute self.  If you are not a dog-lover, you probably don't get it.  Doug is a pug...a dog...but he is our first baby.  He will always be our first baby.  We have a lot of love to give...and he gets it all.  Then, he gives it back to us by cuddling up to us, laying on us, giving us kisses when we're "going bye-bye," always being happy to see us, and just loving us unconditionally.

"I love to go for walks. I wonder what made mom & dad want to take me for a walk around the neighborhood today? It's not every day that they both take me for a walk. Must be this pretty fall weather."
